According to foforks (fan site): We learned that yesterday, some of the production (set designer, makeup artist and production assistants) had left the country. The footage with the actors has already wrapped and the two should have Friday off. The whole team, including the actors were in love with Rio and the Brazilian people so Rob and Kristen can take tomorrow to learn more about the city before returning to the US on Saturday. The production, including Stephenie Meyer, will head back to the state capital where they may film other scenes and return to the U.S. on Monday, Jan. 15.
