Scans and Translation by KStewFrance via @vonch

Kristen Stewart: The little one has quite a temper.

The Twilight star is cheeky and rebellious a twill in the very succesful Snow White and the Huntsman (June 13, in France). Meeting with the rising star of Hollywood.

Astride the sofa of the room N°205 of the Bristol hotel, in Paris, Kristen Stewart moves the interviews with journalists without a murmur. The success of the Twilght movies earned her a worldwide reputation and the heart of her partner Robert Pattinson. The 22 years old actress shows an unusual freedom of speech. The young woman shows she can have a critical eye about Hollywood. Her next movie,Cali,  will set on the X environment… far from Snow White character ! This girl has not finished to surprising us.

What made you want to play Snow White on the screen ?
At first, Snow White is a classic. I like this heroine, because she is deeply kind, full of empathy to the others. I wanted to compose a human character, close to us. Snow White and the Huntsman, is especially an epic movie, with beautiful emotional moments and great action scenes.

This valiant and warlike Snow White is far from the heroine portrayed in the Brothers Grimm story…
I love the dark side of the character. It’s true there are some hard times in this movie. Personally, I’m attracted by the dark univers. I took my character up to this dark side. In this movie,  she is not passive : she slips on an armor, takes the lead of the rebellion against the bad queen (Charlize Theron on the screen).

Do you find something about yourself in this character ?
Yes, but I think I’m a little more crazy than Snow White ! (laugh)

KRISTEN TALKS BOUT 'RACY' OTR SCENES AND SWATH INJURIES

E!OnLine- Marc Malkin Kristen Stewart doesn't sound too surprised about all the fuss that's been made about her going topless in On The Road.

"People are really predictable," she told me yesterday at the MTV Sneak Peek of Snow White and the Huntsman.  "I completely expected that." Not that she has any regrets about doing the racy flick…

"I can't say it's not a little bit jarring, but it's jarring in the right way," said Stewart, 22. "I wanted it to be. I'm really proud of it."

She said she didn't know what to expect from audiences when the film premiered earlier this month at the Cannes Film Festival. "Everyone could have gotten up and booed, but our row would have gotten up and cheered," Stewart said. "We all really do love it, so it would be like, 'Let's go have a drink!'"Fortunately, the screening was boo-free.

Sounds like getting naked may have been easier than the pain she suffered while making SWATH. "I would hurt myself every single day," Stewart said. "The thumbs was really bad, the worst one. But every other day it would be like, 'Ouch, it's this ankle or that ankle.' Or my butt muscle—I would do something stupid like pull my ass muscle."

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH RADIO TIMES

Burnham & Highbridge WeeklyTwilight star Kristen Stewart has admitted she had a hard time growing up in the public eye. She told the Radio Times that she was uncomfortable with fame even before she made Twilight, with the release of Panic Room when she was 13.

“People would come up to me when I was eating with my family in a restaurant or something, and I would always just curl up into myself in a ridiculous manner,” she said. “My family would be so embarrassed and it would be like, ‘Kristen, what are you doing? Just be nice and say hello.’ And I honestly don’t know what my problem was.”

Kristen, who has been in Cannes promoting her new film On The Road, added: “I think it’s natural that 13-year-olds can be pretty insecure but what’s unnatural about it was that I wasn’t insecure. I loved talking to people, normally….It’s just fame. That’s what I had a really hard time with. I was such a freak with all that stuff in the beginning and that’s why everyone thought I was such a weirdo. I was definitely overly self-conscious.”

The US actress added of Twilight: “I acknowledge that people will absolutely identify me with Bella forever and it’s had a hand in giving me everything that I have, which is a lot. It’s undeniable that a lot of people will know me for that. But whether, personally, that was the one that defined me? Probably not.”

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH LATIMES/24FRAMES

24 Frames The exploits of Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady were first described in “On the Road,” Kerouac’s autobiographical novel featuring alter-egos Sal Paradise and Dean Moriarty, more than a half-century ago.
But the stars of the book’s first-ever film adaptation say they believe the Beat bible resonates as much as ever, and that it has coursed through their lives in unexpected ways.

“I read it at 14 or 15 and I was touched. I said ‘I need to find people that push me like this. I want to find people in my life that I want to run after,” Stewart, who costars with Garrett Hedlund (Moriarty) and Sam Riley (Sal Paradise), told 24 Frames.

At a rooftop restaurant Thursday morning, Stewart was still taking it all in. Dressed in a sleeveless leather top and sneaking in a quick snack of restaurant rolls, the actress was reflecting on perhaps her most prestigious role to date, as well as her first trip to often chaotic Cannes. “I’m a pretty nervous person, but for some reason I feel comfortable here,” she said..

Hedlund did Stewart’s Cannes virginity one better — before this trip, the Minnesota native had never been to France. Smoking a cigarette alongside Stewart and Riley, the 27-year-old said he was similarly moved by Kerouac, noting that it echoed through the generations because the feeling it captures hasn’t changed.
Stewart acknowledged that “On the Road” made her want to take on other real-life stories. (She also previously played Joan Jett in the femme-rocker biopic “The Runaways”)

“You wonder a lot more about the whys” with a real-life tale, she said. “And we had such an emotional responsibility to these people. They became our family, which is so much more driving.”
She said that in incarnating Marylou, who is often seen in various states of undress, “I wanted to find the person behind the character, and not the easy way of just playing the character as the girl who likes to [have sex] a lot.”  Read in full

SCREENSLAM - OTR CAST INTERVIEW - PART 1

veronicaspuffy

The cast share the challenges they had to conquer in order to become their characters. They spoke about having to take what they learned about the characters and apply it to their acting without letting it get in the way of their performance. Stewart compares her earlier role of playing Joan Jett in The Runaways to her role in On The Road as Marylou.

“It’s not for everyone, which is kind of the heart of the story. They’re not necessarily going to be able to roll with every crowd. I don’t find them to be rebellious. I think they’re just really truly being who they are, and they don’t fit in. ” – Kristen Stewart

“To be able to play characters that are ridding of inhibitions and fears, we have to try to rid of our inhibitions and fears while trying to achieve a hard sort of goal at the end of the obstacle.” – Garrett Hedlund

“Each of us did our own research as much as possible. At the end of the day you have to take in everything about what you understand from their personalities that we’ve heard from the experts and things and then you also have to then leave that behind to some extent so that it doesn’t become a burden.” – Sam Riley

KRISTEN'S OTR INTERVIEW WITH LA REPUBBLICA ITALY -TRANSLATION

imagebam.com

On the road to Cannes, a meeting with Kristen Stewart. The Twilight star is already the new protagonist in a new franchise: Snow White and the Huntsman, a dark take on the famous fairytale, out this July. Between playing Bella and Snow White, the 22 y.o actress, role model of millions of girls around the world, has taken a new challenge with herself with an adult role: she will be in competition at the Cannes Festival with On the Road, a movie adaptation of the Beat-generation defining novel, directed by Walter Salles.

“That of Marylou is a huge role, without boundaries” says Kristen. A black leather jacket, white shirt and clean jeans, Kristen speaks slowly, she often stops to correct herself, as if any concept was important and difficult for her. Marylou is the sexy and uninhibited wife of Dean Moriarty, friend and mentor of Sal Paradise, Kerouac’s alter-ego.

Collider's tweets were from early afternoon.
