WWD THE OFFICE: Foggy weather muddled the view from the 27th floor of a Paris office tower, where Balenciaga staged its fall-winter fashion show. But “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart — among the VIP guests — shrugged it off. “My horizon is very clear,” she enthused, noting she’s taking a break from shooting after wrapping several movies, including Walter Salles’ “On the Road.” “I have five days off,” she said. “I know a lot of people here now. I’m probably going to hang out with my boys from ‘On the Road.’”

BoxOfficeMag recently sat down with Kristen Stewart to discuss all things Twilight as well as her post-Twilight projects. Here's a quick preview:

You know this character so well, what's it like to take her through this huge change when she becomes a vampire herself?

It felt good. It was really weird. It was such a long process of the two movies being shot at the same time as if they're one. You shoot, obviously, out of order and you keep going back and forth between pregnant, human and dead vampire Bella. There's so many different versions of Bella in this, it's insane. It was a strange experience walking on set the first time I played a scene as a vampire because I'd watched everyone around me doing it all the time. I sound so lame, but vampire Bella really is my favorite character—she's very representative of a matriarch. She's very intuitive on almost a psychic level and no one ever acknowledges it, which is interesting. Maybe that says something about Stephenie that she doesn't get respect for all of her f--king amazing qualities. And that's also one of the things that makes her appealing to me, so that's not a strike at it—that's something that I like about it. And I think it's nice to see her finally get what she wants. That's probably the best thing, even if it sounds simple and indulgent, which is why the f--king thing is criticized all the time. It's nice to see people be happy. And she really—if I've played it right—is born to be where she is.

You're shooting Snow White and the Huntsman right now which imagines Snow White as this warrior princess. What's her fighting style like?

Not to trivialize it at all, but it's hard to play an action hero who is also the most compassionate person on earth. You can't hate. You epitomize bleeding hearts, so how the f--k do you do an action movie like that? She is sort of the last shred of hope for her land. She has this ethereal, spiritual connection to her people—she really feels things-and so it's like we don't really feel empathy. I've had some f--king eye-opening experiences on this movie. I think that to truly care for something isn't just putting yourself in that situation aesthetically and then going, "Oh my god, I feel so bad for them." It's truly not thinking of yourself at all. The way that you fight is that you must take out anything that hurt your people. Basically, I'm fighting evil—I'm fighting the most evil motherf--kers-and it's fine that they're being killed. It's anguish. It's literally f--king anguish. She takes absolutely no pleasure in ever hurting anything. I'm exhausted right now and I was thinking, "The fight stuff is coming up, maybe that won't be so bad." And then I realized that they're probably going to be my most emotional scenes because I'm killing people and I'm Snow White. It's a really f--king cool way to approach a movie where so many people die. Not that I'm criticizing violent movies—I love them, generally—but it is nice to do it this way.

All little girls dream about the perfect wedding. For Kristen Stewart, this dream sort of came true. The beautiful brunette is secretly (well, not so much) her co-star Robert Pattinson since the beginning of the Twilight adventure. Fans will see see their wish come to life soon.
For Kristen, walking down the aisle was a memorable experience. Even if she’ll never admit it, when she talks about the event that is ‘her’ wedding in Twilight and says how wonderful of a day it was, for her, sort of a rehearsal for the real thing.
So, for now, everyone, including the lovebirds, will have to be satisfied with this rehearsal. Breaking Dawn is at the same time an end and a beginning for one of the most cherished couples.

LS: Can you tell us what happens in Breaking Dawn?
KS: Of course. You will renew with the couple that you got to know since the beginning except that it’s not the story of how they will stay together. It’s done, they’re together, they’re tied together. The beginning of the movie is the happiest of the series. it’s light. They know one another so well now. They can express their love.

LS: What moments were more precious for you?
KS: The wedding scene, the honeymoon and the birth of their daughter are the moments I loved.

LS: Fans are excited about the wedding… What can you tell us?
KS: It’s really, really beautiful. I remember that on set, I went to see Bill Condon, our producer and told him ‘Wow, thank you for letting me act out such a beautiful wedding’. It was very personal for me. All the actors were there, Stephenie was there as well, sitting in the back. It was a great feeling! There was… oh, I’m saying things I’m not supposed to talk about. I have problems filtering myself. I’m transparent, like Rob. (laughs)

KRISTEN TALKS BOUT FASHION AND SWATH + NEW VIDS FROM MULBERRY SHOW

wwd.com SNOW WHITE, OR BLACK?: “I know everyone thinks I wear black all the time, but I really do love vibrant colors,” Kristen Stewart of the “Twilight” series said after taking in Mulberry’s bright show Sunday morning at Claridge’s. There were ice cream vans stationed outside the hotel and a sea of giraffe, zebra and tiger balloons bobbing in the lobby to fit the collection’s seaside resort theme. The show drew a starry crowd, including Kate Moss — clad head-to-toe in Mulberry denim — Romola Garai, Hayley Atwell and Harley Viera-Newton.

Stewart, in London until November shooting “Snow White and the Huntsman,” noted her take on Snow White is far from the cutesy Disney version. “It’s more based on the original telling of it, which is fairly dark…it says a lot of great things about vanity and image and strength and standing up for what’s right,” she said, describing the title role as a Joan of Arc type.


VogueUK KRISTEN STEWART, front row at yesterday's Mulberry show, is loving her time in London right now.
"The people are really great. I like waking around here, I don't really get bothered by anyone," the Twilight film actress told us post-show - at which, conversely, she was going anything but unnoticed, sitting as she was next to Kate Moss.

Telling us Fashion Week isn't usually her scene, fashion however is something she's very much interested in.

"Actors and actresses have a hand in both words [acting and fashion]. You have to stay involved in it to be interested. I love what I wear, I mean I love choosing what I wear," she said, impressed with what she had seen on the Mulberry spring/summer 2012 catwalk.

And what about her own style - how would she describe that?

"All over the place right now. I have different versions of myself and a standard uniform - I wear jeans. It's cool to have another side of things. I have phases," she told us.
