Kristen Stewart: The little one has quite a temper.

The Twilight star is cheeky and rebellious a twill in the very succesful Snow White and the Huntsman (June 13, in France). Meeting with the rising star of Hollywood.

Astride the sofa of the room N°205 of the Bristol hotel, in Paris, Kristen Stewart moves the interviews with journalists without a murmur. The success of the Twilght movies earned her a worldwide reputation and the heart of her partner Robert Pattinson. The 22 years old actress shows an unusual freedom of speech. The young woman shows she can have a critical eye about Hollywood. Her next movie,Cali,  will set on the X environment… far from Snow White character ! This girl has not finished to surprising us.

What made you want to play Snow White on the screen ?
At first, Snow White is a classic. I like this heroine, because she is deeply kind, full of empathy to the others. I wanted to compose a human character, close to us. Snow White and the Huntsman, is especially an epic movie, with beautiful emotional moments and great action scenes.

This valiant and warlike Snow White is far from the heroine portrayed in the Brothers Grimm story…
I love the dark side of the character. It’s true there are some hard times in this movie. Personally, I’m attracted by the dark univers. I took my character up to this dark side. In this movie,  she is not passive : she slips on an armor, takes the lead of the rebellion against the bad queen (Charlize Theron on the screen).

Do you find something about yourself in this character ?
Yes, but I think I’m a little more crazy than Snow White ! (laugh)

KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH TU MEXICO

Scan and Translation by TwilightPoison

Twilight is a huge phenomenon and it gave you thousands of fans, but at the same time it gave you lots of detractors. How do you feel about these polar opposites?
It’s funny because I get nervous when I’m talking to the press about me. I don’t like that people have this idea of me being stuck up, or that I don’t care about giving interviews. If people are going to hate me because of this missconception, then it’s my job to prove that they’ couldn’t be more wrong. But if they have other reasons to hate me, then it doesn’t bother me at all. I’m happy doing what I do.

What items are never missing from your suitcase?
My nun sweater (laughs). I’ve had it since the 6th grade and I’ve been close to losing it, and it almost freaked me out. Obviously my cellphone. Other than that, I don’t like travelling by myself, so I always take a friend that makes me feel safe. Here in Mexico my entire team is with me. Fortunately all the people that work with me are close friends too.

How would you describe your prince charming?
I don’t know. Princesses and princes like we used to know them no longer exist (laughs). But I imagine someone who’s a leader. A leader needs to be dependable and loyal.

If you could change one thing with one kiss what would it be? Getting pregnant? Teletransporting yourself? Becoming invisible? Protect your boyfriend…
I want everything you just said except the getting pregnant part (laughs). I’m so not ready for that yet. I’d love to teletransport myself, just by jumping. Everytime I blow birthday candles, or when I hold my breath inside a tunnel, I do ask for a wish. I never ask for anything specific because I’m afraid it’s not going to happen. I just do something strange, if I have a feeling I repeat to myself “Please, please, be happy, be happy”. And I do feel happy and free.

KRISTEN TALKS SCRIPTWRITING WITH ROB AND SWATH SEQUEL

MTV When MTV News caught up with Stewart at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, we asked her to address rumors that she and Pattinson are working on a script together.
“We are constantly working,” she said, “but no.”
We are!” her “Snow White and the Huntsman” co-star Chris Hemsworth chimed in. ” ‘Snow White and the Huntsman 2′ written by us, and it might be more of a straight-to-video version if they let us write it.
No, no,” Stewart replied.

Hemsworth defended his statement: “If they let us write it! If they let us write it.”
“It’ll be better,” she said. “Our version? We’ve basically written it. No, I’m kidding. We’re gonna write the second one, all of us [in the cast].”

We are,” Hemsworth agreed. “It’s gonna be a group kind of exercise. Everyone just closes their eyes and start scribbling and then whatever’s on that page, [that's the script].
Talk surrounding a “Snow White” sequel was previously reported back in April, when Universal was said to have approached screenwriter David Koepp about penning a script. Stewart told MTV News last year that she’s “over the moon” about this project and would “love” to work on more films if the franchise continues.
While the movie’s director, Rupert Sanders, said the fairy-tale princess could go dark in a sequel, Stewart remains skeptical.

“Well, I’m not saying anything. Nothing at all,” she laughed. “Let’s undermine our entire lead character in the very second [film]. It’s like, ‘No, that’s my whole [thing].’ It would be so weird to [make her darker]. It would break me, which would probably be interesting to watch.”

But then we have to rebuild you, which is exciting,” Hemsworth added.
“That’s the third one, the rebuilding,” Stewart replied.
“See how far in the future she lives?” the Aussie actor said, addressing us. “Never in the moment.”
Well, she is coming off four films, soon to be five, with “The Twilight Saga.
And Hemsworth conceded, “She’s done this before, hasn’t she?

KRISTEN AND CHRIS MMA BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW

YouTubeSomeLostBliss

MTV When MTV News caught up with Stewart and her co-star Chris Hemsworth after they presented the award for Best Female Performance, we asked them for reactions to the film's positive reviews and overall reception among fans. "Yeah, it was a relief, wasn't it?" Hemsworth said. "The thing is, people love the movie, the fans are excited about it, that's the biggest pat on the back, that's the biggest reward."

Stewart agreed, adding that she would have been proud of the film regardless of its reception. "I really dig this one so much. Like [Hemsworth] said, we're very proud," she said. "It could have done nothing and we'd still be proud of it, so it's cool that people sort of raised their hands and are like, 'I like it too!' It's sort of like, 'Really?' "

KRISTEN TALKS 'EAST OF EDEN' REBOOT WITH 24FRAMES/LA TIME INTERVIEW

LA TimesWith “East of Eden” often mentioned by Kristen Stewart among her favorite reads, the actress’ fans have long clamored for the “Twilight” heroine to star in a reboot of the John Steinbeck classic.

That reboot, announced more than three years ago with Tom Hooper and Imagine Entertainment, has been perpetually stuck in development. But Stewart still feels strongly that the Cain-and-Abel story — of course originally brought to celluloid by Elia Kazan and James Dean in 1955 — could use another go-round on the big screen.

“Obviously ‘East of Eden’ is a really great movie,” Stewart told 24 Frames when asked what book she’d most like to see adapted to film. “But it’s the last chapter of the … book.”

The Kazan film focuses only on the latter sections of the novel, particularly the dysfunction and adventures of a pair of brothers in California’s Salinas Valley around the time of World War I. Stewart said that a new film could take the scope of Steinbeck’s epic, which goes back a previous generation and even flashes back to the Civil War, and make a more faithful adaptation.

“That really is much more of a saga. It’s so long; there is so much to take,” she said.
The actress didn’t say anything about starring as the Cathy/Kate character, as many KStew fans have been pulling for. (Cathy/Kate is the lead female character, a conniving and murderous operator who gets involved with several male characters.)

Stewart did, however, say she was relieved about the development progress of a different book that has struggled to make its way through Hollywood — John Kennedy Toole’s “A Confederacy of Dunces,” to which Zach Galifianakis has just signed on as the bumblingly iconic Ignatius Reilly.

Finally, they’re going to get that made,” she said, breathing a sigh of relief.

In addition to starring in a new spin on a Brothers Grimm tale with this weekend’s “Snow White and the Huntsman,” the Bella-fied one appears in another adaptation of a classic text — “On the Road,” the film version of the Jack Kerouac tome that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and opens in December.
