NEW RELEASE DATE FOR 'BEL AMI' IN USA - MAY 12, 2011
The playboy of the Twilight series promises to continue making love to his fans around the world with his new film Bel Ami.
The film tells the story of Georges Duroy (played by Robert Pattinson), a soldier of the French army in Algeria who arrives in Paris without wanting to work in the slightest. Bel Ami (and will be dubbed by successive lovers) has not been blessed with the gift of intelligence or culture, but is physically attractive, so naturally captures the attention of all women will get ahead.
Besides Pattinson, acting Christina Ricci and Uma Thurman, and will be released on May 12th in the U.S..

POSSIBLE SIGHTING ROB AND KRISTEN IN ISLE OF WIGHT OF 2010

"This time last year VentnorBlog were the first to report the story that then went worldwide, when Hollywood stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, were spotted holidaying in Ventnor.
Well, according to reports on Facebook, it appears that the love-birds might just be back on the Isle of Wight once again. Earlier this evening ‘Robsten’ as they’re more lovingly known by fans, were apparently spotted on the Isle of Wight Hovercraft travelling across the Solent.
Upon arrival, it’s reported they ran across the footbridge and popped into the Hong Kong Express on the Esplanade. We gave HKE a call, but they had no idea who the couple were so weren’t able to deny or confirm the rumour.
Hopefully Robert and Kristen will be left alone to enjoy the delights of the Island, without being hounded by paparazzi desperate for a cheap shot."

The playing field wasn't quite as even for sexiest male, as Robert Pattinson easily earned another win. His closest competition was Alexander Skarsgard.

The race was close right up to the end, but ultimately Pattinson's 6,430 votes (51.5 percent) won out over Stewart's 6,063 votes (48.5 percent). Could this be considered an upset?
While both actors shared in the success of this summer's third Twilight installment, Eclipse, which brought in more than $300 million at the box office, it seemed Stewart had the more noteworthy year, career-wise. Her two other films, The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys, both earned the actress solid critical and audience acclaim, further establishing her as more than just Bella Swan. Pattinson's other film, Remember Me, on the other hand...Well, critics and audiences had other thoughts on that one.
But the people have spoken and here's to the winner and everyone else who fought for the top spot! (Keep it up, Betty White!) Better luck in 2011.

When the name Robert Pattinson comes up for discussion, a lot of people don't remember him for his small part as Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Only the die-hard fans have watched the tear-jerking "Remember Me" over and over, and did anyone ever see "Little Ashes"? The 24-year-old British heartthrob is best known for playing Edward Cullen in "The Twilight Saga," dating costar Kristen Stewart, and to haters and skeptics alike, is seen as just another hot guy that likes to suck blood.
Movie buffs willing to give Rob the benefit of the doubt have been holding their breath to see him prove himself as a serious actor. We're pretty sure 2011 is the year he'll do just that. Yes, he'll be reprising his vampire persona in "Breaking Dawn" and showing a more serious side in the period piece "Bel Ami," but his role in our No. 3 film for 2011, "Water for Elephants," is what will solidify his place in Hollywood's shining spotlight.
It's hard not to be excited for the April 22 release. The film adaptation of Sara Gruen's No. 1 New York Times best selling novel follows Jacob Jankowski, a white collar veterinarian student who drops out of Cornell during his senior finals following a family tragedy. He finds himself accidentally joining the rag-tag Benzini Brothers Circus after jumping a midnight train and zig-zags across the country, making unlikely friends, finding forbidden love and seeing the dark side of the greatest show on earth. It's the stuff every good movie is made of. Oh, did we forget to mention that Rob looks smokin' hot, too?
The movie has already garnered a little bit of Oscar buzz for Rob's performance, and the trailer alone is enough to give you goose-bumps. Academy Award winners Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz helm the film with Rob, which promises to give you the same thrill of finding a prize in a box of Cracker Jacks.
