ROB DONATED A PRIVATE SCREENING OF BD PART 1 FOR 20 PEOPLE - TO BE AUCTIONED AT GO GO GALA

Robert Pattinson has given young girls—and everyone else, for that matter—another reason to love him even more.

Here's how it came about: About a year ago, Pattinson donated a meet and greet with fans on the set of Breaking Dawn for a charity auction.

Not only did a Chicago family win the coveted prize with a bid of $80,000, but...

The money raised by Pattz for the Go Campaign is being used 100 percent to build a permanent home for PAGE (Program Advancing Girls Education), an organization helping to educate teen girls in Cambodia.

PAGE currently houses 12 girls in a rented facility. Sadly, they've had to move several times over the last three years because of health and safety concerns.

The new home will accommodate 20 girls. Run by Cambodian monks in Siem Reap, Cambodia, PAGE has also bought a piece of land large enough for its own vegetable garden to help feed the students.

And now we're happy to report that Pattinson is helping the Go Campaign again! He's donated a private screening of Breaking Dawn for 20 people that will take place in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, the night before the movie opens in theaters.

Guests will also take home a Twilight gift bag that includes signed posters, DVDs and a replica of Bella's wedding ring, among many other goodies.

Like last year, Pattinson's package is part of the auction that coincides with the Go Campaign's Go Go Gala. Hosted by Ewan McGregor, the fourth annual event takes place Nov. 10 at the London Hotel in Los Angeles.

The set visit was the highest bid ever for a Go Campaign auction. Will R.Pattz shatter his own record this time around?

We have a feeling he will.

FUNDRAISING AUCTION : WIN AN AUTOGRAPHED 'WFE' BOOK AND SPEAK OUT AGAINTS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Via LetMeSign

One in four women in the U.S. will become a victim of abuse or partner violence in her life. To help end this devastating cycle, Speak Out Against Domestic Violence was launched in 2004 to build awareness, to educate, and to develop and implement prevention and direct service programs.
One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime
85% of domestic violence victims are women
Females who are 20-24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence
Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police
Witnessing violence between one’s parents or caretakers is the strongest risk factor of transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next

Through the end of 2010, in the U.S. alone, they have provided more than $23 million for the domestic violence and gender violence causes.

LetMeSign had the privilege of attending the New York City Premiere of Water for Elephants starring Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. As you know, Reese is an Honorary Chairperson for the Avon Foundation’s Speak Out Against Domestic Violence. During the premiere they had the opportunity of talking to her and Robert Pattinson regarding this auction and they were both pleased and excited at the idea. The site believes that every bit helps and as fans we can make a difference. Instead of keeping what they obtained they are putting it to a good cause.

MORE DETAILS IN ROB'S BIDDING ON CHARITY AUCTION

Prev HERE

This week, a fan paid $80,000 in a charity auction through CharityBuzz to meet Robert Pattinson and get to visit the set of "Breaking Dawn." And while it comes as no surprise that fans were clamoring for the chance to get up close and personal with the actor, Glenda Luft, director of communications for the site, told MTV News the bidding war was more intense than they could have ever imagined.

"Bidding was definitely intense!" she told MTV News. "The package was hovering at $47,000 for a few days and then at $67,000, but we were so thrilled to see it jump to $80,000 in the very last moments of the auction."

So how did it all come together? "Summit Entertainment put the auction package together to raise funds for the GO Campaign, which empowers vulnerable children and orphans around the world," she explained. "Summit included the incredibly rare opportunity to visit the set of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' in Vancouver for four people total, with hotel accommodations at a deluxe executive suite at the elite Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver and VIP limousine service to and from the 'Breaking Dawn' set. As if that wasn't enough, Summit also promised the winner an opportunity to meet Robert Pattinson on set!"

There was one major stipulation: "The fans will need to be on their best behavior, as there is a strict conduct code to act in a 'responsible and appropriate manner at all times during the experience.' "

The fan might be excited, but so is the charity. "The GO Campaign was thrilled when we learned we'd have this 'Twilight' auction item because of all the good work it will help us accomplish," Scott Fifer, executive director of the GO Campaign, said in a statement. "The funds raised will help us support tens of thousands of children around the world."

While they couldn't share anything about the winner, Luft did share that Pattinson's popularity made him one of the biggest auctions of the year — but he was beat by a Beatle. "This is one of our top celebrity auctions of the season, but not the highest in CharityBuzz's history," she said. "Yesterday, we auctioned the chance to meet Paul McCartney for $130,000!"

Luft added that other big auctions on the site right now include chances to meet Prince William, U2's The Edge and Taylor Swift.
