Rob's Rep Says He'll Attend Cosmopolis Premiere, According to People

According to People, Rob's rep says he'll attend the Cosmopolis premiere in NYC on August 13th and talk to the press on August 14th

ETA: According to Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson, Rob will do paired interviews with David Cronenberg.

Pattinson, 26, stars in the new movie Cosmopolis, due out in theaters Aug. 17. And despite reports that the Twilight star – whose girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him – has cancelled promotional appearances for the movie, he will show up to support the film in a few short weeks.

"Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting," his rep said in a statement Wednesday. "No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."

So the fiercely private Pattinson will have to face the media and fan frenzy during the Cosmopolis premiere in New York City on Aug. 13 and speak to reporters at a press event the following day.

News of Stewart's infidelity with the 41-year-old, married director comes about four years after the couple met while filming the first installment of Twilight, the vampire smash that thrust them into the spotlight before the film even arrived in theaters. Buzz that they were a real-life couple took off almost immediately. As Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, have become increasingly open about their relationship, they've been photographed kissing and keeping cozy on date nights in Los Angeles.

ETonLine Kristen Stewart is very easy on the eyes. "Kristen is porcelain—and magnetic," Breaking Dawn: Part 2 actress Toni Trucks (Mary, American Nomad in BD2)  said at last night's premiere of her new movie, Ruby Sparks. "I even found myself on set with her and all of a sudden I'd be like, 'Why am I staring at Kristen right now?'"

 And K.Stew, 22, and her beau Robert Pattinson, 26, couldn't have been nicer. "They're great," said Trucks, 31. "Kristen was always lovely to me and really laid back and Rob was so joyful and cool. They're both wonderful, cool as a cucumber. I don't think anyone can really judge people too harshly when you have all eyes on you at all times."
