REESE WITHERSPOON MENTIONS ROB IN NEW INTERVIEW

While doing promo for 'This Means War', Reese Witherspoon talked about Robert Pattinson, who she worked with in 'Water for Elephants'.

In the movie, the star of the Twilight saga, plays a vet student that joins the circus in the beginning of last century.

In the movie, Reese plays a character called Marlena, the circus' star, engaged to an animal trainer.

“He's great. And oh my God, so handsome!”

The actress praised Pattinson's effort to manage two jobs at the same time.

“What surprised me was his dedication. He would film all weekend long, then spend the week on the Twilight [set], then another weekend filming, then more Twilight... And he still had that lightness, humility. He's very grateful for everything he's been living.”

REESE WITHERSPOON TALKS BOUT ROB IN GLAMOUR UK

imagebam.comimagebam.com

When she hit the big time, Reese was about the same age as her Water for Elephants co-star, Robert Pattinson, is now. "I wasn't used to people recognizing me on the street, so I guess I can relate a little bit to what goes on with Rob. I've had a pretty trippy life," she laughs.

As she and R-Pattz publicized their film last year, she admits that even she was "taken aback" by his humility and charm, in the face of hundreds of wailing Twi-hards. "At the London premiere, people slept out in sleeping bags and they were crying and sobbing, but he takes the time to say hello to everybody and sign autographs." Rob surprised the film's cast and crew, too. "I think everybody was looking at him [expecting] to see, 'Ugh, this guy's some spoiled-rotten brat...' and he wasn't. He was incredibly gracious, smart, and actually shy and introverted. He's a very grateful person."

REESE WITERSPOON TALKS BOUT ROB AND KRISTEN

In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she's kissed him too.

When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of "MTV First: This Means War," we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her "Water for Elephants" and "Vanity Fair" co-star.

"I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I've ever worked with, honestly," she said. "[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I've ever seen anyone for where he is in life."

Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person.

"I've never experienced what he has — going to premieres and there's just millions of people waiting for him to touch them," she said. "I think it must be strange, but I don't even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen [Stewart] deals with. I don't know."

The Oscar-winning actress said Pattinson handles his fame very well, despite the sometimes-chaotic circumstances. "[He's]a really cool guy," she said.

AUDIO/SCAN : REESE TALKS BOUT ROB

From Glamour Magazine (France) - Thanks to Sonia for the translation

Is Robert Pattinson really that pretty in real life?
He's not too bad, I know you're disappointed but it's the truth. He's smart, low profile and ultimately shy. He's really funny too, we couldn't stop laughing throught the whole shooting.

His hair is really short in this movie!
I know! All the Twilight fans are furious. What he's living right now, I've never seen that before in my life, and it happens wherever he goes. It's not just girls, either. I've seen 40 years old women screaming his name at the other end of the set, pressed against security fences.
