SAM CLAFLIN TALKS HIS ROB,KRISTEN, AND MARCUS FOSTER CONNECTION

Sam Claflin is one of Kristen Stewart's two leading men in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, which hits theaters June 1. We stopped by the London set of SWATH in October to sit down with the cast and crew and learn a little bit more about the highly anticipated dark retelling of a classic fairy tale. Sam, who plays Prince William in the film, is relatively new to the big screen after making his debut in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last year. While on the SWATH set, Sam shared this cute story about having the same taste in music as Kristen and a connection they made through a favorite singer:

"There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he's about to do that Kristen [Stewart] has just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, 'I can't believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].' So, again, it's all this small world. So namely him, but I think -- I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune."

Team-twilight You’ve spoken publicly about your love for Twilight. What is it about the series that you love so much?

Rachel Zoe: I would say that you completely lose yourself in the purest form of romance. It’s the first time in so long that you get to see such a strong love, and get so caught up in it without any of the physicality

You’ve also been outspoken about your crush on Robert Pattinson. Have you gotten to meet him yet?

RZ: No, I have not met Rob. But, I have many mutual friends and have heard nothing but the loveliest things about him. I think he’s a very talented actor and would love to meet him in the future.

If you could style any of the Twilight cast, who would you pick and why?

RZ: Bella and Edward — I would love to dress them as a couple because I think that’s always fun.

If you had to pick: Twilight books or movies?

RZ: Movies, because I’m an extremely visual person. I actually read the books after the movies, which was fun because I could see Kristen and Robert as Bella and Edward.

Maestro answered: That's what you have to ask them. But yes, they are super open, super friendly. 

Then Mia talks about coexistence outside the set: We had departments where we could cook, I was much more at home than you could think, and we ate all together, we cooked.
Pattinson? He does not cook. The cook is Kristen. 


And Taylor Lautner? I did not meet him much, because we did not share many scenes. But I can tell you that Taylor, when I took my dog to the shooting, looked after him and played with him.

US Weekly Actor Boo Boo Stewart, who plays werewolf Seth Clearwater in The Twilight Saga; Breaking Dawn - Part 1, told Us Weekly that Kristen Stewart and her on-screen daughter had a lot of fun on set.

"She seemed like a really good friend to Mackenzie [Foy]," the Stewart, 17, told Us. (Foy is the 11-year-old girl who plays Bella and Edward Cullen's daughter Renesmee.) "I think I saw them playing patty-cake once! It was cool."

"I loved [playing a mom]," Stewart said at the Breaking Dawn premiere Monday in L.A. "I actually really loved it." 

As for his other costars? "I definitely see Taylor [Lautner] doing a lot of action films… He's so coordinated it's ridiculous!" Stewart said, noting that he and the 19-year-old met as kids in karate class.

"I can see [Rob doing] a little of everything. He's one of those guys [that could do] extreme dramas, romantic comedy, whatever he wants," Stewart added.

Although, as Rathbone revealed, it sounds like he and his Twilight co-stars could have formed their very own group over the course of the years.

“Rob [Pattinson] and I have jammed quite a bit (on the set),” he says. “Miss [Kristen] Stewart is quite a guitarist and singer herself. Nikki Reed is actually a fantastic songwriter and she is an amazing singer, too, but it’s hard to get her to sing. I think I’m one of the few people that’s ever gotten her to sing. I badgered her enough. On this last movie I was teaching Ashley [Greene] a little bit about the ukulele. Kellan [Lutz] is actually taking up the guitar…We always had a good ol’ time [playing music together on the set.]

"If this movie is anything like Cronenbergs other films, Pattinson will have to do some real acting, not just look sparkley lol. I heard Elephants was good. I'm excited to see what kind of performance Cronenberg can get out of Pattinson on Cosmopolis.Takes for the rave scene will be 2-3 minutes each. Its a one day shoot and they'll shoot till Cronenberg is happy! "

ANNA KENDRICK ON RON AND KRISTEN'S FAME "IT'S LIKE A PRISON"

But Kendrick tells EW she’s glad she doesn’t have to deal with flashing lights and screaming fans on a daily basis. If only her Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were so lucky. “I feel really, really, genuinely fortunate not to have to deal with that right now,” she admits. “It’s like a prison. Talking about Kristen, she's got a reputation of being really miserable. Is that fair?
I don't really understand that. I love her, and I think anybody who sits down and talks to her will do. She's extremely talented and such a sweet girl. We all get nervous when we go to events and we all handle our nerves in a different way. I get super nervous and Kris and I freak out together backstage all the time.

Is there a secret rivalry between you and Rob?
Thankfully no. We have been filming together for three or four years now and we've all become close. We're great friends and so supportive of one another. It would be a nightmare if there was any rivalry. Having to deal with that for years would be impossible.

Did you get what everyone sees in Rob?
Oh yeah! He's a great guy. he's hilarious and I think that is the thing that most people don't see enough of with him. I'm always laughing when I'm with the guy. He's hysterical.

But WHAT is GFYS?

GFYS started one day as Noel and I were walking back into our trailer after a long day's work. We each had one half of the same trailer as dressing rooms and our doors were on opposite ends. As we were opening the doors to our dressing rooms, I called out to him,

"Hey, Noel…"

He earnestly looked at me. "Yeah?"

UBER casually I say, "Go f*** yourself."

On his look of shock, I went into my room and shut the door. I admit, I was laughing pretty hard. The look on his face was priceless.

So, what could I do? I had a talk with Kristen, then Rob to arrange a spontaneous GFYS from each to accent the rest of Noel's day. They were SO into it. However, before I know it, Rob is wrapped for the day and I'm thinking he forgot. Oh, me of little faith in Rob's silliness. As he walks off set back to his trailer,

"Noel. Go f*** yourself." Rob said it so casually, Noel looked at him for a second, not believing he'd heard what he just heard. Noel looks at me.

"I can't believe you did that. Nice.", he says.

"Thanks, man." I respond. But he hasn't heard from Kristen yet. AND now we're called back to set...

The minute I walk on set, Kristen is READY to do this thing with Noel. She keeps looking at me when he's not looking, mouthing, "Now?" I'm mouthing back, "Not yet." She keeps shooting me looks every few seconds, "Now?" and I keep going "Not yet. Rob just did it." I am thinking to myself, MAN, she REALLY wants to tell Noel to go f***himself. Did he piss her off or what?!? There's a break coming up and we all come back on set. Except Kristen. I look for an A.D.

"Where's Kristen?"

"Oh, she wrapped."

NO WONDER she wanted to do it so quickly. Dammit.
