KENAN THOMPSON BOUT ROB HOSTING SNL "THAT WOULD BE AWESOME"

Trying to get Robert Pattinson to host "Saturday Night Live" next season might be a bit like trying to make fetch happen. (Shout out to the "Mean Girls" fans out there!) But that doesn't mean we aren't gunning for it anyway. And it seems that—like Jason Sudeikis, who recently made us all giggle as the MTV Movie Awards host—Kenan Thompson is also petitioning to get the "Breaking Dawn" star on the show.

"That would be awesome," he told us at the "iParty With Victorious" bash, adding that he'd also be into Kristen Stewart stopping by. "They'd have to do whatever we asked them to do… it's usually great when people get into it."

(If Rob needs some more encouragement, Jason had these kind words for him: "We got you, buddy. You'll be fine. Hold on to me tightly. We'll take you through the forest of 'SNL.'")

Speaking of all things "Twilight," it seems that Kenan was intent on having James Franco get his vampire on. Unfortunately, no one else was. "I tried to do this one skit when I think James Franco was hosting," he revealed. "[The sketch was] about a kid who's a vampire with just one vampire tooth, but that didn’t work."

4 THINGS FROM ROB'S RADIO INTERVIEW - HOLLYWOODCRUSH

Braving the mud hills of his obscure Canadian location and risking getting beaten by members of the "Breaking Dawn" cast and crew, Robert Pattinson took time to call into Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning for a brief chat. RPattz was surprisingly giggly (but to be honest, Ryan lends himself to that sort of response) and divulged a few details about his upcoming release, "Water for Elephants" with Reese Witherspoon, and the highly anticipated "Breaking Dawn." Here's what we learned:
As if this wasn't clear from the current Vanity Fair cover, he's an animal lover.
Robert formed a close relationship with Tai, one of the elephants featured in "Water for Elephants." "They're the most sophisticated, gentle creatures you could possibly hope to work with," he told Ryan. "I got carried around in her mouth the first day I met [Tai] and you suddenly realize how incredible they are."

Historical accuracy is so important to him, he even researched for his role in the Great Depression-era film.
"It's a big, beautiful old-fashioned love story, set in the '30s with me and Reese Witherspoon playing lovers. It's very sweet," he explained. "I watched a bunch of documentaries, but the main thing is the [Sara Gruen] novel it's based on is very historically accurate. Jack Fisk, who's the production designer, his sets were so incredibly authentic, and the costume designer and everything, it's an incredibly true to life adaptation of the book."

Team Edward fans made him nervous about taking on the "Water for Elephants" character of Jacob.
Wait a second, not that Jacob. "It's quite funny, as soon as I read [the script] that was one of my main concerns," Robert laughed. "I think the fact that he's Polish—Jacob Jankowski—takes away from [the similarities] a little bit. It's very different from 'Twilight.'"

Despite the constant buzz of media attention, he's content with where he is in his career.
"I'm pretty happy with the way things have gone. I mean, I stayed working, stayed pretty happy. I think that's the most you can ask for," he said.

Sadly, Robert remained mum on details from the "Breaking Dawn" set, but did set the rumor straight that his fellow cast members are not on lockdown while secluded in "the middle of nowhere" Canada. "They're being super-secretive about all the stuff on this one but I think I can get out of my room," he laughed. But the next two months won't allow Rob much time for anything else, as "Breaking Dawn" continues filming until the premiere of "Water for Elephants" on April 22.

MTV : ROB'S BEST GOLDEN GLOBES QUOTES - AN ILLUSTRATED GUIDE

In the nearly three years "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has been on the Hollywood scene, he's uttered way too many memorable soundbites to count. Seriously, who could forget gems like, "Up until I was 12 my sisters used to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as 'Claudia!' or "A mother recently gave me her baby and asked me: 'Can you please bite her head?'" So it was little surprise when we caught up with him on the Golden Globes red carpet that he had plenty of interesting/random/hilarious things to say. In fact, his comments were so evocative, we couldn't help but picture them, and thanks to a little digital photo manipulation, now you can too. Feast your eyes on our Illustrated Guide to Robert Pattinson's Golden Globes Interview!

Hahaha..cute manip! "Its like doing Twister" - Rob on doing sex scenes

Our favorite blurb by far came from the portion of Rob's interview with Josh Horowitz in which he described the "Breaking Dawn" sex scene image that recently fired up the Internet."It's always awkward in a way if you're doing it with anybody," RPattz said when asked if he was more or less comfortable filming a steamy scene with Kristen Stewart rather than, say, his "Bel Ami" costar Uma Thurman. "It really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister." Like doing Twister, huh? Wonder what that would look like! Probably something like the photo above! With his reputation as a bit of a klutz, we give Kristen the upper hand in this game of balance and flexibility.
