'WELCOME TO THE RILEYS' IN THE UK - MOVIE + DVD RELEASE UPDATE

Duncan Stripp, Acquisitions Manager at High Fliers Films Plc who have acquired the rights to Welcome to the Rileys in the UK, has confirmed to @KristensLegs via email their intentions for the release of the film.

"The film will be shown at the Empire Leicester Square w/c 18th November and is due for release on DVD on 20th February 2012."

KRISTEN WINS BEST ACTRESS AT THE MIFF 2011 FOR 'WELCOME TO THE RILEYS'

Kristen Stewart won the award for Best Actress at the Milan International Film Festival 2011 for 'Welcome to the Rileys'. 

"Kristen won a Leonardo Horse Award in the category “Best Acting Performance Female” at the Milan Film Festival 2011 for her performance in “Welcome To The Rileys”. She couldn’t accept the award personally, but she’ll retain it as soon as possible in Los Angeles." IAmYuliaBelka

'WELCOME TO THE RILEYS' OSCAR CONSIDERATION CAMPAIGN

The ladies over at WTTR Saturday have started an Oscar Consideration Campaign to help Kristen Stewart, Melissa Leo and James Gandolfini to be recognized for their performances in "Welcome to the Rileys".

It is very expensive to get this movie into the hands of Academy Voters therefore the fans have taken it upon themselves to raise money to help buy ads in trade magazines that industry insiders and voters receive and help with Oscar consideration.

Please visit the Oscar and Golden Globe Award Campaign Site to read more about this cause and to make a donation.  The goal is to raise $50,000 by December 15, 2010.
