KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH EL MERCURIO (CHILE)
Kristen Stewart: “I’ve never been a fan of fairytales”
The heroin of the twilight saga comes back with a Badass Snow White, but she says she stays true to the classic character. “Snow white and the huntsman” makes its debut in Chile on June 21st.
Protected inside of a centric and luxury Aztec hotel, Kristen Stewart is not indifferent to the chorus of hundreds of fans that have been here throughout the morning and much of the afternoon making a vigil to wait for her to appear on a balcony and greet. And although she does it, the loyal fans do not leave the area waiting of a new appearance.
However, the last years, particularly since this young girl of 22 years old jump to fame with the blockbuster “The twilight Saga”- and who has never publicly acknowledged her relationship romance with her co-star Robert pattinson.-, has learned to love her fans but at the same time fiercely protect her privacy “When I made the first promo world tour I was just 18 years old” tells Stewart, that after posing for photographers in a glamorous outfit receives a “EL MERCURIO” more relaxed in jeans and a sweatshirt.
“Now, it’s so much easier to me to be free and talk from my heart, because I know my limits. I don’t play that horrible game of not knowing how much give, and being honest without not being eaten. Now, it makes so much sense to talk about my movies, I don’t talk about anything else and I think that’s important.” She explains.
Before the end of the vampires and werewolves series, Stewart comes back to the Chilean cinemas turned into Snow White, but not the classic fairytale of the immortalized Disney classic. Here is a young lady that must lead a rebel army to take back her throne from her evil stepmother (Charlize theron) and divide her heart between the charming prince (Sam Clafin) and the man sent to kill her (Chris Hemsworth) who becomes her ally. Snow white and the huntsman it’s a super production of $170 million that debuts with success in United States.
Did you admire this character when you were a child?
“The truth is that I’ve been never a fan of fairy tales; the stories of princess were never my favorites. I mean, I understand why these stories have endured for so long but never did tune with me. That’s why I like this movie, because it was very different. As an actress, I want to challenge myself and discover things, and this Snow white keeps all its delicacy and sweetness, but must fight and become harden.”

SWATH BOX OFFICE REPORT - FROM THR AND BOMOJO
Box Office Mojo Snow White and the Huntsman attracted strong interest on opening day, and wound up earning more than the next six movies combined. Meanwhile, MIB 3 had a decent hold in second place, while The Avengers passed two major milestones.
The year's second Snow White movie opened to an estimated $20.3 million from 3,773 locations on Friday, which is more than the first Snow White movie (Mirror Mirror) made in its entire opening weekend. It's also way ahead of Universal's Robin Hood, which earned $13.03 million on its opening day in May 2010. Based on Friday's results, Universal is forecasting a $55 million weekend. (You can check regular updates on Box Office Mojo)
The Hollywood Reporter Universal's latest summer event pic Snow White and the Huntsman is overperforming in its domestic launch, grossing $20.3 million on Friday for a projected weekend opening north of $55 million.
If Snow White -- starring Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth -- stays on course, it will be the first of Hollywood's recent fairy tale re-tellings to work with moviegoers. The film also could mark a much-needed win for Universal after big-budget stumble Battleship and recent comedy miss The Five-Year Engagement.
Box office observers will be watching carefully to see whether Snow White's B CinemaScore affects word of mouth over the weekend. Snow White wasn't a cheap proposition, costing at least $170 million to produce, excluding a eight-figure marketing spend. It also will need to do good business overseas, where it is opening in 45 markets this weekend.
Based on initial numbers, Universal is predicting a $39.3 million international opening for Snow White, higher than two other female-skewing properties, The Hunger Games ($38.7 million) and the first Twilight ($30 million). Snow White opened No. 1 in 30 of the markets, and is doing particularly well in Latin America and Asia, including placing No. 1 in Mexico with $1 million on Friday. Snow White, however, is getting trounced in the U.K. by Ridley Scott's 3D sci-fi action tentpole Prometheus, which 20th Century Fox is opening in 15 foreign markets a week ahead of its June 8 North American launch.

KRISTEN AND SAM'S INTERVIEW WITH DEPELICULA (MEXICO)
KRISTEN'S INTERVIEW WITH THE INDEPENDENT AT CANNES
The Independent “I am so self-aware, so self-conscious,” she says. “There are people in life who lead the way and run after things, and then there are the observers and followers. I am one of those people; I’d be latching onto the leader. That’s why I love to play characters that are so completely different to myself.”
In Snow White, Stewart says she loves the fact “you have a kick-ass heroine, someone who can fight, yet she’s not a strange girl pretending to be a boy. I always wanted to do something physically challenging and this was it.”
“I always say follow the heart and things usually wind up where you want to be.” Her attitude to what she wants is perhaps best summed up when she is asked about her On the Road character, Marylou, who Stewart says is a heroine of hers; it was a favourite book of hers as a teenager. ” I love her spirit,” she enthuses. “She’s so genuine, so herself. She refuses to be a commodity and I love that.

KRISTEN TALKS ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSING MTV'S 'BEST KISS'
When asked if she had any fighting talk for Jennifer and Josh, Kristen told MTV.co.uk: “I don’t know. For the last few years it was ‘The Twilight Show’ and it was bizarre and this year’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be like ‘Oh good, something different! Please God, something different’.
“I would love to see them go up there and I would love to see how someone else dealt with it to be honest. It’s like ‘are you gonna do it?’, ‘are you gonna give it to them’.” “If we didn’t win, I would actually be stoked to see like how it all goes down and how they handle it.”
