ROB IS #2 ON THE SUNDAY TIME'S 'YOUNG RICH LIST 2012 (UK)

TheHollywoodReporter LONDON - Actors, such as Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson, musicians, led by Adele, and models dominate the Young Rich List of British millionaires age 30 and under that "The Sunday Times" is scheduled to publish later this month.

Its Rich List 2012, set to come out on April 29, includes 60 young millionaires along with the 1,000 richest people in Britain and the 250 richest in Ireland, the paper said.
Outside of sports, which has its own Times rich list in May, more than half of the wealthiest young people in the U.K. are entertainers, according to the paper. (...)

Entertainment Wise Actors, models and musicians dominate the Young Rich List of British millionaires under the age of 30 to be included in the Sunday Times Rich List 2012, published on Sunday April 29.

22-year-old Daniel Radcliffe has been named the richest young person in Britain, having earned a staggering £54m after starring in eight Harry Potter films, and more recently, The Woman In Black, which is said to have increased his fortune by £6m in a year.

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson falls close behind with a fortune of £40m, and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a newbie to the rich ranks having earned £5m in her short modelling career.

ROB RANKS #3 - UK HEAT MAG'S RICHEST ENTERTAINERS UNDER 30

Reuters “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe on Tuesday topped a Heat Magazine list of the richest, young British entertainers, retaining his No. 1 position in the ranking of people under 30-years-old.

Robert Pattinson, lead actor of the rival fantasy film franchise “Twilight,” moved up to third from fifth and leapfrogged two of Radcliffe’s Potter co-stars, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, according to the celebrity magazine. (Rob's estimated wealth is £24.9 million or $38.5M as per MetroUK )

Actress Keira Knightley, who starred in several of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, remained second on the chart, while singer Adele was the highest new entry at 16.

Radcliffe, 22, who played the boy wizard in the movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novels, earned 51.8 million pounds over his career, according to Heat estimates. The actor’s earnings for 2011 were 6.1 million pounds higher than in 2010.

Knightley’s earnings totalled 30.9 million pounds, ahead of Pattinson on 24.9 million, Watson on 23.9 million and Grint on 21.7 million.

Figures compiled for the Sunday Times Rich List illustrate just how lucrative the Harry Potter and Twilight film franchises have been for their stars.

Just as JK Rowling's wizard adventures have beaten Stephenie Meyer's vampire saga at the box office, Radcliffe has won the wealth battle against Pattinson.

Radcliffe, 21, is now said to be worth a staggering £48 million thanks to his appearances as Harry Potter on the big screen and his stage work.

Pattinson, 24, who appeared in the Harry Potter movies before going on to play Edward Cullen in the Twilight films, has amassed a £32 million fortune.

The figures put them in fifth and eighth positions respectively on the list of wealthiest Britons under 30.
